Week 17 Rules

question about the rules during week 17 By ponjuan Dec 15, 2009 03:13:02AM
Does any body know how it works for week 17, if you have a challenge flag left is it worth more.  Or do you just have to get to week 17.  What if you have  1 slot and the player doesn't make the requirement on week 17.  What if you have 1 slot and 1 flag in week 17 but your player doesn't make it. do you get to use your challenge flag after week 17 eventhough there is no week 18?

The flag can not be used after Week 17 has concluded and flags are not used in any way for scoring or tiebreakers. Any flag not used prior to Week 17 beginning is essentially wasted.

Week 17 will be a very stressful football watching weekend.

Anybody remember the tv show "Early Edition"?  That guy would kill in this game.

Yeah, that's why I said, It all comes down to who passes week 17. . . It's freaking scary from this point out.  That 10 grand is still up in the air. . . and only week 17 matters at this point b/c anyone w/ 2 flags left is guaranteed a spot in the week 17 contest.  Yikes. . .

ArenasMVP - That's right.  So week 17 is going to decide an awful lot of the prizes.

Man, so something like this could happen: Player #1 has 1 slot and 3 flags left with 1000 pts overall.  Player #2 has 1 slot left and 0 flags left with only 500 pts overall.  Week 17, Player #1 loses his pick, Player #2 gets his pick correct -- Player #2 would end up winning even though Player #1 had flags left (since they can't be used after week 17).

Challenge flag after week 17 is worthless.  Doesn't break ties, and can't be used.  I checked with FW and they confirmed this.
