FW,

I've been thinking about this, and its still bullshit, including the logic for your answers.  There is obviously nothing you are going to do about it, but here are my responses.

Does it matter if the only people who did this/took advantage of this were novice and beggingers?  They still have just as good of chance of winning the prizes as someone with experience does.  And these are not "for fun leagues" the prizes are real, and some of them quite large.  It shouldn't matter if someone is beginner or advanced when you are talking about the monetary value we are.  The rules should be the same for everyone.  The rule said 1 hr prior to first kickoff of the week.  Yet you somehow change the rule, because some people didn't understand it.

As for my situation being different, somewhat yes it is.  But not completely.  I was definitely asking for another challenge flag, I don't argue that.  But all you did was give anyone who didn't set their roster extra challenge flags.  However many spots they had open, they got that many extra challenge flags.  So really, the situation is slightly different, but the premises are the same, extra challenge flags given out.

Still complete BS in a big time fantasy operation like you are trying to set up.

Hi Dominic,

Sorry we didn't get back to you. Just to let you know, very very few people took advantage of this offer. Keep in mind, the people who used this were mostly novice and beginner users who genuinely forgot to set their roster and that's what it was designed for and when they picked they picked from teams that have not played. As for letting you pick again, that's a different scenario. That's like giving you an extra flag. Not the same thing for sure.

We appreciate your enthusiasm for our game and we hope you continue to support us grow the site. We are trying to build the community including all types of levels, so that we can have bigger and better prizes. So please understand and help build up our community. That will make this a better FantasyWorld than it already is.

And by the way week 11 prizes are all up. Sometimes because we're dealing with the celebs we don't get the prizes up front so we unfortunately are at their mercy at little. Please invite your friends to play. Please continue to give us your feedback. We appreciate your business during our first sport. We're trying our best to get this to be the best game out there.

    Come on.  Thats bullshit.  It was all over ESPN and NFL sites, papers, and TV that there was a game.  You sent out an e-mail specifying that the lock was on Thursday this week.  If people don't know whats going on and didn't get their rosters set, that is their own fault.  Pretty sure it says clearly in the rules that your roster has to be set 1 hour prior to the FIRST game of the week.
    I'm also pretty sure that this game has been scheduled at this time, on this date since the NFL schedule came out.

    Take a look at it.  Most of the people got everything set just fine.
    You guys are going to do this when you can't even get your own shit together?  No recap of week 9?  No final rankings for week 10?  Still no prizes set for half the week 11 leagues?  Get it together.

    While I'm at it, how about since you let the FEW people who didn't set their rosters, you let those who lost players in the SF-Chi game to re-pick their players for sunday's games?  Only seems fair to me?

I though it was bullshit, and posted so on the other topic.  Whether or not you had anyone playing in the game it was still wrong.
The rules clearly state 1 hour prior to the first game of the week.  Its not like the NFL kept the game a secret or that it was scheduled a day before.  It has been known since the beginning of the season, and ESPN and other sports shows were talking about it all week.

On top of that, a reminder email was sent out.  This is courteous of FantasyWorld in the first place.  You shouldn't need to be reminded to set your lineup each week.

On top of all of it, some of these prizes are pretty big time.  Its not fun we're playing for.  This is real life stuff.  Essentially what FW did was give anyone who didn't set their line-up free challenge flags.  However many spots they had, they got that many free/extra challenge flags.
